OCCUPATIONAL SUMMARY:

Under general supervision, performs a variety of routine semi-skilled maintenance for WCCI facilities; ensures that facilities are available for use and consistently maintained in a safe and clean condition. Areas of responsibility include, but are not limited to, carpentry, painting, plumbing, landscaping and electrical trades work. Operates a variety of maintenance and cleaning tools and equipment; and performs related work as required.

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Provides general and detailed maintenance (either with direct or indirect supervision), including patching, painting, hardware repairs, furniture assembly, carpentry, electrical, plumbing, HVAC and other repair/replacement work as required. 
• Works with WCCI’s computerized maintenance management system for work orders, inventory and approvals. 
• Perform preventative maintenance repairs and routine building inspections to identify possible issues. 
• Completes and maintains related records such as maintenance logs and security incident reports. 
• Transports equipment, furniture and supplies manually and/or using aides such as dollies and carts. Operates a motor vehicle to pick up and move goods and supplies. 
• Performs the duties associated with events, including executing the set-up plan in a timely manner and ensuring breakdowns are completed on schedule with spaces returned to normal state.
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Facilities and Maintenance Supervisor/Executive Staff. 

SKILLS/ABILITIES:

• General knowledge such as carpentry, janitorial, painting, masonry, plumbing and electrical
• Familiarity with common cleaning products and equipment 
• Must be proficient in Microsoft Office
• Knowledge of industry’s legal rules and guidelines
• Ability to work independently and multi-task
• Excellent Customer Service

• Ability to foster open communication and trust.

 EXPERIENCE:

• 3-5 years’ experience of Facilities and Maintenance experience
• Experience with HVAC, electrical and plumbing equipment 

EDUCATION:

• High School Diploma, GED or equivalent experience.
